The implementation of the FOND SHOP portal occupies a special place in our repertoire of projects. It was one of our most extensive "greenfield" implementations, which had a clear goal: to transfer a successful business from a paper offline form to the digital sphere. Our task was to create a comprehensive investment portal that would not only replace the printed magazine, but also elevate the provision of premium information to professionals, financial intermediaries and laypeople to a completely new, digital level.
The services we provided
The implementation of the FOND SHOP portal occupies a special place in our project repertoire. It was one of our most extensive "greenfield" implementations, which had a clear goal: to transfer a successful business from a paper offline form to the digital sphere. Our task was to create a comprehensive investment portal that would not only replace the printed magazine, but also elevate the provision of premium information to professionals, financial intermediaries and laypeople to a completely new, digital level.
The complex nature of the project required an individual approach to the design and a detailed understanding of the client's internal processes and requirements. The result is a robust multi-level application with a number of tools that serves as the central brain for managing public and locked content.
In order for FOND SHOP to be able to bring premium information about the economic situation in our country and around the world on a daily basis, we have implemented a number of necessary functions. Imagine an editor who opens the system in the morning and immediately sees in the Editorial Plan what tasks have been assigned to him and at what stage of completion they are. This tool coordinates the entire team and ensures that writing, proofreading and publishing flow seamlessly.
However, when creating an article, the editor is not limited to plain text. We have developed a set of internal tools that allow him to enrich the article with dynamic elements. He can insert interactive graphs, images and other visual elements directly in the editor, without needing programming knowledge. Before the article sees the light of day, it goes through a sophisticated approval process thanks to preview modes, which ensures absolute security and quality of the content before its publication.
The unique web portal thus allows the management of not only public but also locked content, while access to premium articles is ensured via a “paywall”, a system that unlocks access to content based on the subscription level. If the user decides to purchase, the entire process takes place directly in the application via an integrated payment gateway, which immediately changes the user’s status and makes the premium sections available to him. The user experience also includes the Investment Academy, which we developed, which is an e-learning module with courses and quizzes added as part of the further development of the platform, which serves to educate users and increases the value of the entire portal.
Individual visitor groups are also related to the management of content subscribers, the possibility of entering mass discount campaigns or group subscriptions. Website users can also subscribe to newsletters or use advanced search that works across the website.
What is not visible at first glance is the massive data work in the background. For effective management and easy evaluation of data on the website, we have implemented a reporting system that generates weekly analytical reports. The sales department, in turn, uses an offer planner that ensures the creation of personalized advertising messages based on advanced conditions. The portal also includes an advertising system that allows the client to individually configure ads and manage advertising space on websites, which creates opportunities for further monetization of the content of the website itself.
The entire system also allows data export to third-party applications via API interfaces, which allows the MONECO group to share identical content across the applications of its subsidiaries.
Key application functionalities:
Intelligent Paywall and Subscription Management
A key content monetization system that automatically unlocks or locks premium articles based on the purchased subscription level. Includes user group management, bulk subscriptions and discount campaigns.
Editorial plan
A tool for managing the entire publishing process. It allows for team coordination, task distribution to editors, and scheduling deadlines, including approval processes and previews before publication.
Personalized Offer Planner
A marketing tool that ensures the creation and display of targeted offers and advertising messages to individual users based on precisely defined conditions and behavior on the website.
Advanced reporting and analytics
An integrated system for data collection and evaluation that automatically generates weekly analytical reports. This makes it easier for the client to make strategic decisions and evaluate the success of the content.
API integration and MONECO ecosystem
Interface ensuring secure data export to third-party applications. Enables sharing of content from FOND SHOP to the systems of the group's subsidiaries and ensures data consistency across the entire group.
Own advertising system
A module that allows the client to individually configure advertising spaces and banners directly on the website, which creates additional opportunities for monetizing portal traffic.
Investment Academy
E-learning platform integrated directly into the website. Contains educational courses and interactive quizzes that increase user engagement and serve as an educational extension of the portal.
Editorial Toolset
Custom-developed tools for editors that enable advanced editing and enrichment of articles with dynamic charts, interactive elements and multimedia without the need for programmer intervention.
Advanced Search
Full-text search optimized for large volumes of data, which works across the entire website and allows users to quickly find relevant articles, news or courses.
The entire FOND SHOP project was designed to be as flexible, secure and user-friendly as possible. We provided the client with a long-term sustainable solution for managing investment content and its online publications. The most valuable thing about the cooperation is the trust placed in the implementation of such a complex ecosystem and the excellent communication that continues during the subsequent development of the portal.
