Volunteer fire brigade websites are often limited to a simple presentation with basic information, contact details and a photo gallery. For the Lavičky Volunteer Fire Brigade, we went much further. We built a comprehensive web solution from the ground up that not only presents the organisation to the public, but also simplifies day-to-day operations, membership management, contribution tracking, member communication and administration. We connected the public website with a secure members’ area and a custom administration application, allowing the brigade’s management to manage content, memberships, payments and communication from one place. The public gets an up-to-date overview of the brigade’s activities, members have access to internal information, and the management team can handle tasks that would otherwise require several separate tools and a great deal of manual work. The result is not just a modern website, but a practical digital environment that is uncommon among similar organisations.
